Project Manager - a detailed-oriented individual with strong communication and consulting skills with an average of 6-12 years of in design of commercial mechanical, electrical, telecommunications or security systems. PE license, LEED® accreditation or RCDD certification preferred.
Common duties include (but not limited to): serve as a primary point-of-contact, fulfill consulting engineering services in all phases of design, develop cost opinions and specifications, prepare life cycle cost analysis and energy modeling, integrate building automated systems, and fulfilling bidding, construction administration and project closeout services including commissioning.
Project Designer - self-motivated individuals who design in AutoCAD and Revit with 3-5 years of experience in commercial building design of mechanical, electrical, telecommunications or security systems.
Common duties include (but not limited to): design layout; interface with design-team; coordinate with intra-office disciplines; construction and prepare bid documents; support specification documentation; coordinate with local jurisdictions; review submittals; and support construction administration efforts.
Internship - Hargis seeks individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in setting-up, designing and producing project deliverables for mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, or electronic security systems for a wide variety of building types. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to interface with multiple team members, be responsive to requests for assistance, thorough in completing tasks assigned, and most importantly have the attitude and aptitude for learning. AutoCAD drafting software experience a plus. Common duties include (but not limited to): design layout in AutoCAD or Revit; interface with design-team; coordinate with intra-office disciplines; support specification documentation; coordinate with local jurisdictions; and general office tasks.
