Earned distinctions within Hargis' leadership team

SEATTLE, WA - Brian Cawley and Doug Svee were promoted to Associate Principal and Senior Associate, respectively.

Cawley, a mechanical engineer and project manager, leads teams in serving civic, academic, institutional and commercial capital projects. His ability to balance stakeholders’ objectives, programmatic requirements and technical solutions has contributed to projects of various prominence and criticality. He leads as the prime and subconsultant’s primary point-of-contact for Liberty Mutual, T-Mobile, Washington State Department of Natural Resources, Tacoma Power, Seattle Public Utilities and multiple school districts throughout Western Washington. He is also engage He served the recently LEED® Gold certified Bellevue School District Transportation Center and is currently working on the Lake Stevens High School Modernization and Addition, as well as three major primary school capital projects for Seattle and Chehalis school districts.

Svee, the newest member of Hargis’ shareholder team, is actively involved with electrical infrastructure upgrades for multiple Washington state institutions and commercial stakeholders. Providing leadership several prime and Washington State on-call projects, he has contributed to the scoping, planning, design and execution of projects across the spectrum of open and restricted-access campus environments. He applies his technical know-how and discernment abilities to serve Bates Technical College, The Evergreen State College, Western Washington University and Washington State Departments of Corrections, Ecology, Revenue and Social and Health Services. In supporting these clients’ capital projects he has helped maximize budgets, reduce long-term operating costs and integrated building and systems into operating campus networks.

Hargis Engineers Promotes 10 Leaders

SEATTLE, WA – April 4, 2013 – Hargis is pleased to announce the promotion of Brendon Inman and Michael Roberts to Associate Principal. Inman has 14 years of electrical engineering experience serving institutional, industrial, retail and mass transit clients. He provides leadership within the firm through engineering standards and supporting the integration of Revit as a coordination resource. With 13 years of experience, Roberts serves academic and civic clients’ electrical engineering needs and champions various initiatives in-house that promote a positive work environment.

Bradley Slatton, Brian Cannon, Jared Robillard, Mark Humiston and Matthew Strain join Hargis’ leadership team as newly appointed Senior Associates. Slatton, a member of the business finance team, collaborates with Hargis staff and owners to structure budget, team and contract information so that it is responsive and beneficial to clients and firm operations. Cannon is a mechanical engineer specializing in learning spaces, high technology environments and sustainable design. Robillard leads institutional, healthcare and academic projects throughout the state as a mechanical project manager. Humiston, an electrical engineer, is a Hargis resource on sustainable applications serving educational and industrial clients. Versed in the mission critical and multi-purpose spaces as¬sociated with high technology, healthcare and instructional facilities, Strain applies his 19 years of mechanical engineering to provide leadership as a project manager.

Newest associates include Brian Cawley, Tamás Bencsik and Greg Reher. Cawley, a mechanical engineer, is engaged with academic and retail spaces. Well versed in system upgrades, Bencsik leads mechanical engineering services for educational and civic spaces. Shannon promoted to Associate Principal, three new Associates at Hargis

SEATTLE, WA – March 2012 – Hargis is pleased to announce the promotion of Patrick Shannon to associate principal. As a firm leader, Patrick’s services are essential to Hargis’ continued ability to plan, deploy and standardize advanced telecommunications, electronic security, audio/visual and wireless systems for commercial, municipal, correctional and academic clients.

Hargis is also pleased to recognize the promotions of three new associates – Brian Cannon, Svetlana Warner and Brad Slatton.

A mechanical engineering project manager with experience supporting school districts, municipalities and high technology private clients, Brian’s talents have helped the Seattle Public Schools, Snohomish School District, Snohomish PUD and T-Mobile. For over 20 years, Svetlana has served retail and commercial clients, including as a project manager for new construction and renovation projects for Nordstrom full-line and Rack stores throughout the country. Brad’s history with corporate finance and supporting tools for reporting, managing and sharing fiscal information has assisted Hargis with streamlining operations and providing timely project details.
